The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each member has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as important members in the powerful family could enable the team access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
